Boring Weekly Meal Plan, 2.7 – 2.13

When I polled on stories, y’all overwhelmingly responded that YES, y’all love all of the recipe/dinner inspiration! So I’ll do my best to round up what’s on our menu each week and share!

I’m a little late getting to the grocery store and around to making a plan for the week because we were out of town this weekend! Better late than never though, right!?

Breakfast & Lunch

I have some verrrry ripe bananas so I’m going to whip up some Banana Oatmeal pancakes to stick into the freezer! I like to reheat these in the mornings in the toaster and add a little cookie butter on top.

For lunch, we typically just eat leftovers! That’s the plan for this week.

Dinner

For dinner, I have typically been trying to plan a mixture of meals that leave us with leftovers for lunches and a few meals that don’t! Here’s our plan for this week:

Chicken Alfredo

No recipe to link here… Cody “saw a recipe on Instagram” he wants to try. Lol!

Jambalaya

And nothing fancy here! Just Tony’s Chachere’s boxed dinner mix with some sausage! If you’re local – we always grab Red Raider Meats’ jalapeno and cheddar sausage!

Oven Fried Southern Hot Honey Chicken

I’m newly obsessed with Half Baked Harvest! Her recipes are delicious, full of flavor, and easy to follow. I’m excited to try this recipe!

Salmon with Citrus Avocado Salsa and Potatoes

Another Half Baked Harvest recipe I’m excited to try! Best part? Just one sheetpan!

Chicken Bacon Ranch Sliders

About a month ago, Rachel from @chalkandcoffee posted the recipe for these sliders and mentioned they were husband approved! She wasn’t joking. They are delicious and reheat really well! We like for our food to have some spice/bite to it, so I buy Boar’s Head Blazing Buffalo Chicken Breast for the meat!

And that’s it! I’d love to hear about any recipes y’all are loving lately.

I hope y’all have a wonderful week! It’s supposed to be a beautiful week here so my goal is to get outside and walk the dogs to get in some exercise!
