Positive Notes to Send Home: A Winning Classroom Management Bonus Strategy!

Early on in my teaching career, I was taught that positive contact should be made first, frequently, and intentionally. Which of course is true, helps build relationships, and overall builds classroom community. But… easier said than done, right!? Sometimes it can feel like just one more thing to keep track of and make time for during the already busy school day.

So, I created these quick and easy Positive Notes to Send home! No more keeping up with a cute notepad, finding the right “seasonal” note, printing off certificates in color, etc.

These Positive Notes to Send Home are a quick an easy way to celebrate your student in a way that is fridge worthy!! The FREE NOTES have been downloaded over 80,000 times from my Teachers Pay Teachers store. If you haven’t snagged them yet, what are you waiting for?!

These black and white printable notes feature different graphics that are versatile and easy to use. Just grab one, fill it out, and stick it in your students’ folders as they deserve some extra celebration! Keep a stack near your desk so you can fill one out quickly when you spot a student who deserves a little extra celebration.

What Other Teachers Are Saying

I love sending these notes home! They make it super easy to send positive reinforcement on a moment’s notice. I can write them up quickly and then send them home at the end of the day! Families love receiving them.

Barbara L. on Teachers Pay Teachers

Great resource to easily communicate to parents about positive behavior/ performance. My students love the opportunity to go home and “show off” what they’ve done well. I also appreciate that it’s in B&W so I can print on colored paper and save on colored copies.

Taryn L. on Teachers Pay Teachers

This is the perfect no nonsense way to keep in touch with parents about positive comments about students. They are easy to copy, write up on the fly and parents love them.

Kate A. on Teachers Pay Teachers

I can’t wait to hear how they are used in your classroom! Hop on over to Teachers Pay Teachers and download the notes to send home for free!
