Rave On

Upscale, modern, and unforgettable. Rave On’s American food with a modern twist will leave you reminiscing on the entire experience for the foreseeable future. Located in the Buddy Holly Hall, you will find Rave On is the perfect place to celebrate a special occasion. The lunch and dinner menu boast flavorful dishes from appetizers to desserts. Don’t forget to check out the cocktail menu as well!

Cafe J

Stella’s

Stella’s has an atmosphere that can’t be beat! Their new location still serves the Italian favorites we all love and has an amazing brunch menu. As an added bonus, Manhattan 9 is a Speakeasy behind the restaurant. Ask your waiter for the code word so you can get in, or you can check their Facebook page!

Table 82

If you’re looking for a laidback, yet unique and tasty food, Table 82 is a must try. It is located just south of Loop 289, and is a perfect place to stop after a day spent shopping. They are also known amongst locals for their brunch, which you can read more about in my Lubbock Brunch Spots blog post!

The West Table

Looking for a trendy, fresh, upscale dining experience located right in downtown Lubbock? The West Table offers all of the above! With a menu that changes daily, you are sure to get fresh, seasonal bites that will leave you wanting more. Locals can’t stop talking about The West Table, and soon you won’t be able to either!

The Funky Door

Perfect for a girls’ night out or special date night, The Funky Door is a unique bistro and wine room. Often showcasing live music, the interior of Funky Door is visually appealing, as is the outdoor patio. Added bonus? They also have fondue! You won’t be disappointed with the atmosphere or the food. I recommend splurging on both appetizers and dessert!

Triple J Chophouse

The Triple J Chophouse & Brewery has a menu that will please everyone! Not to mention their menu of craft brews. Located right on Buddy Holly Avenue, the atmosphere and aesthetic make Triple J’s a memorable experience. It’s perfectly located if you’re staying downtown or near Texas Tech.

Burklee Hill Vineyards

Another favorite that is also listed in my Lubbock Brunch Spots post, Burklee Hill Vineyards is at the top of my list for a girls night out! They are a bistro and winery located in Downtown Lubbock. Pick from their variety of menu items, enjoy a wine tasting, or a cocktail.

La Sirena

Looking for a homey, quaint space to dine? Cocina de La Sirena is tucked away in Cactus Courtyard and offers delicious plates to share as well as main entrees. The real treat though are La Sirena’s drink menus. If you love a good hand crafted drink, you have to make your way over to La Sirena!

Claraboya Scratch Kitchen & Bar is located in the Double Tree in Downtown Lubbock. People are raving about Chef Antonio’s ability to take fresh ingredients and locally sourced meats and turn them into delicious meals. Be sure to stop by and give it a try!

A longstanding locally known restaurant for celebrating special occasions in Lubbock is Las Brisas Steakhouse. Enjoy a perfectly cooked steak or indulge in some seafood. Open for dinner every night of the week, you may want to make a reservation ahead of time just to ensure you have a table reserved just for you!
